Celts and Iberians Review

Before the class tomorrow, here is a quick review of the Celts and Iberians, who we were learning about before we moved on to the ancient civilisations.

The Celts and Iberians were two peoples that lived on the Iberian Peninsula before the arrival of the Phoenicians and Greeks. They stayed on the peninsula until the Roman Conquest of Hispania, when they became part of the Roman Empire.
The Iberians lived in the East and South of the Iberian Peninsula, and the Celts lived in the West, North, and centre.

Both the Celts and the Iberians lived in tribes, with a chief as their leader. They built their settlements, called forts, with walls for protection. And both peoples were farmers, not hunter-gatherers like people in pre-history. However, there were some differences, as you know.

The Celts built their houses in a circular shape, while the Iberians built square buildings. The Iberians had money, and were traders, but the Celts did not use money. The Iberians had a way of writing, and the Celts didn't use writing. The Iberians had warriors, but they were more known for being craftsmen, while the Celts were very good warriors. This was partly because the Iberians used bronze for their tools and weapons, but the Celts used bronze and also iron, a stronger metal.
